On December 10th at the UNEP FI segment of the 2024 Building Bridges conference, Platform Partners Capitals Coalition, ISO, OECD, UNEP FI and UN Global Compact, together with Bloomberg, spoke about the Platform as it lands its first foundational phase and prepares for a new three-year term. Watch the recording here.

Driven by a common motivation to clarify and mainstream the practice of impact management, since 2022 the leading providers of voluntary sustainability frameworks and standards for the private sector have been partnering as a community via the Platform.

The Partners have been working together to forge a common understanding of and language for impact and impact management, as well as to understand and promote the complementarity and interoperability between their frameworks and resources.

At the close of the 3rd year of the Platform’s activities, the Partners were excited to share its latest work, two research papers on industry classification and on sustainability topic nomenclature respectively, with the public.

They also announced their plans for a new phase of work through the Platform, commencing in 2025, where the unique strengths of each Partner organization will be explored and leveraged to support the Platform’s vision for a system of accessible, appropriate, complementary and interoperable resources to support market actors with the mainstreaming of impact management.
