Having been an Observer for a year, the Partners of the Impact Management Platform have voted in favour of the International Foundation for Valuing Impact (IFVI) becoming a Partner. This move to work more closely with the Partners will further enable them to collectively explore interoperability opportunities between impact accounting-focused resources and other impact management resources more broadly.

IFVI’s mission is to build and scale the practice of impact accounting to promote decision-making based on risk, return, and impact. It is an independent nonprofit organisation that grew out of the Impact-Weighted Accounts Project at Harvard Business School.

It is the eighteenth Partner to agree to the Platform’s Terms of Reference, enabling it to collaborate with the Partners via regular technical discussions across their joint work programme. It will work with all Partners in pursuit of their joint mission to provide clarity on different impact management practices, as well as how their resources fit together as part of an overall system.
